libsidplayfp-dev software package provides library to play Commodore 64 music based on libsidplay2 (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsidplayfp-dev
libsidplayfp-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsidplayfp-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsidplayfp-dev *
You will get with libsidplayfp-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
